RN to BSN: admission criteria

Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing enrolls students twice a year.

  • Admission is open to registered nurses with an unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • The minimum cumulative grade point average for admission is 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for the required general education course work and a grade of "C" or better in each of those required pre-requisite general education courses.  Click here to view the complete list of pre-requisite general education course required.
  • Completion of all required pre-requisite general education courses (56 credits) prior to enrollment.

Note: An "unencumbered license" means neither the license, the licensee's practice, nor the license is associated with any type of restriction, encumbrance, or probationary limitations imposed by the applicable Board of Nursing or any judicial entity.
