Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing has achieved dual certifications in the areas of Online Teaching Support and Online Learner Success through the esteemed Quality Matters (QM) program. These notable certifications have been bestowed upon both the pre-licensure (BSN) and post-licensure (RN-BSN) programs offered by the college.
As a student of Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, you will have the opportunity to take part in hybrid learning, with select courses being offered online and other courses that are offered in-person. BSN students have electives and other offerings that are online, and RN-BSN students take part in a fully online program. Learning online offers students the flexibility to learn from any location and at any time that is convenient to their schedules.
What is Online Learning?
Online learning uses technology to extend teaching and learning beyond the physical classroom. Online learning provides the freedom to work and study where you are located. You will learn the content provided in your classes on your own before working with your classmates in interactive ways. This flexible learning experiences allows you to focus on your career while also pursuing your education.
Is Online Learning for You?
While online learning is designed to adapt to your schedule and where you are, you will still have access to a number of resources to support you in your program of study. Your faculty and advisor will be available to answer questions via email, discussion boards, and other media. You will also have access to our library resources and all student services, just like those students who come to our campus.
