The Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimated budget, as required by the Department of Education that is updated for each academic year. The COA is not the same as a bill. COA is established solely for the use in student budgeting and for the Financial Aid Office to award Financial Aid for the academic year. COA is itemized to include the following:

  • Tuition and Fees *
  • Books, Course materials and Equipment *
  • Expenses for Living, Personal and Transportation
  • Federal Direct Loan Fees
  • If applicable, License/Professional Credentialing

Each student's cost of attendance budge is disclosed on their individual Financial Aid Award Letter. Please contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions or budget concerns: bsr-confinancial@bshsi.org

Items above denoted with an asterisk (*) are direct institutional/College charges. Students will be responsible for direct institutional/College charges each semester and should review Registration Bill in College Nexus Student Portal prior to each semester. Students must adhere to published due dates in the academic year College Catalog for timely resolution of direct institutional/College charges.
